The double image loiters along the boundaries of fixedness, teetering on the edge of reanimation. This series looks at found family photographs taken in quick succession, inserting them into the simple form of the lenticular image and the more recent gif. format. Such awkward flickerings seem a jarring suspension in time, a fragment which refuses to sit still, a quivering, half-animated pause.
